Beware anyone that presents their process as the One True Way, especially if that way if overly complicated, opaque, and prioritizes form over function or process over content. Most good things come from hard work, good choices, and a dash of luck/timing. No shortcuts!

the biggest struggle of my career has been trying to get people to understand that designing in code doesn’t have to—and maybe shouldn’t be—be targeted to prod. seems like that confusion is alive and well based on the debate right now. when i design in code it’s to *feel*
Design will suffer in coming years if all designers wants to become design engineers. It's fun watching people create cool things though but I hope designers keep designing and don't go too far away from it.
