I have been doing all I can – including sitting down with BMA yesterday – to stop these strikes. Unfortunately, we haven’t reached an agreement. My entire focus now is working with the NHS team here and across the country to get through the next five days. 1/3

Ways for Gyökeres to be more effective: 1. More over-the-defence passes to match his runs + a player being available to be a link-up option. This has to be done quickly. 2. Time. Gyökeres and Saka haven't clicked quite yet, but with time, they'll understand one another.

Arsenal signed Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP in July. The forward has scored six goals in 19 games, but there have been questions over his impact so far and how well he fits into Mikel Arteta’s team. @gunnerblog, @ArtdeRoche, @nnamdionye and @Dan_Sheldon_ discuss ⬇️ 🔗

Add it up… You wait 12 hours in A&E to see a doctor You wait six months to see a specialist doctor… You wait a year to get your operation by a doctor Yet, hundreds of British trained, qualified doctors can’t get a job!!!! It doesn’t add up, does it?

Timber is the gold standard; a brilliant one-v-one, lockdown defender - that isn’t new information for anybody. But credit to Calafiori who has levelled up massively in that area. He looks much more prepared (athletically + technically) to defend in isolation/wide areas.

ITV News has filmed patients being treated in hospital corridors, hours before tens of thousands of resident doctors in England walked out on strike. So-called “corridor care” is happening in many hospitals across the country as the NHS struggles to cope with rising demand.

Wes Streeting says the govt has done everything it can [to avert this weeks strike by resident doctors]. He's lying. He's refused to negotiate, he's ignored the BMA for months, and now the doctors have been forced to take industrial action he's trying to blame them.

Let's be very clear what's happened: the BMA has been trying to negotiate with the govt for months (when there was no flu epidemic). As late as November the BMA were trying to get round the table & wrote a letter to Wes Streeting. He didn't bother replying.
