It was great writing the voter registration report with the fabulous team of @sysilviakim, @MichaelLMorse, and @pettigrew_stats with help with @jongr1, @stark_talk, and Katie Steele from @PennPORES. Long story short, so much research on voter registration is needed.

If you have a copy of a New York voter file from 2022 (especially from Oct 2022) sitting on your hard drive that you would be willing to share, I would be grateful

Great article in the Philadelphia Inquirer by @PennPORES fellow Leo Cassel-Siskind on rejected mail ballots in Philadelphia. @Elaijuh does such a fantastic job working with our students.

New: Texas wants to build its own voter list crosscheck program after a push from the TX GOP to get rid of the tool that already does that — Kansas did it and failed. Indiana tried too and that program stalled

Over the past 2 years mail in ballots have come a hot topic, especially the policies affecting which ballots are accepted and which are rejected.

A change in PA laws & rise in mail voting led many to worry about "naked" ballots being disqualified in 2020. Daniel Hopkins, @mieuque, & Kira Wang of @Penn looked at how things actually shook out: https://t.co/n4ZCf89JaE @PennPORES

In an election law and administration class this semester, I am looking for organizations and governments to pair with high quality students in conducting elections research. Many of the @PennPORES students are very skilled in data analysis. DM me if interested in learning more.
