I never knew the story of Louis Bourgeois before today- but I'm fascinated by her. Amy Novesky weaves wonderful imagery while Isabelle Arsenault visually creates a world of cloth, water, and mother's love. A beautiful story helps us understand artists' motivations and thinking

Bruce continues to be my favorite crotchety character- perhaps I see a kindred spirit in him. A big storm hits his town and his neighbors find refuge with him. Even though he doesn't want them there- he finds his better self by the end of the book. Thank you @RyanT_Higgins!

Just finished Brothers Keeper- @julieleeauthor what a moving book. My aunt grew up during the Korean War and it gives me a new perspective of her strength. Thank you

Yessssss! In the air our ethos!
For inclusion to really be successful, it has to be our mission, our ethos as a school. And every educator in the building must see themselves as a teacher of ALL students. #LeadInclusion #udlchat #inclusion #inclusionmatters #globalsped #globaledchat

Thank you https://t.co/M6ZxXptuwK for Play Like an Animal! It is brimming with fun. This gem allows students to explore how animals behave. It also gives them vocabulary and great action verbs! An enjoyable picture book for sure.

Fly, Girl, Fly! is a lovely picture book that features a strong woman that I hadn't heard about but should have. Shaesta Waiz is the youngest woman to ever fly a single-engine aircraft around the world. Alexandra Bye's https://t.co/oYwHzZuqKl art is beautiful and inviting.
