Work with the willing. Give the group that says yes your time, attention, and support. Remember, the average manager spends about 80 hours per year on employees that are in resistance mode and who won't change. You don’t need everyone on board to move forward.

Iowans have no idea about the extent of the teacher shortage in our state. I am not here to complain. Administrators and districts are best served to stay positive and get as creative as possible to fill vacant spots. Yet, there simply are not enough teachers out there. . . .
