Agreed. There have been politically correct/woke shows for decades. Quite a few modern cartoons fit under this classification. That being said, "Captain Planet" has always been one of the worst examples of promoting PC/woke ideology.
Captain Planet was perhaps the wokest show ever made. I still remember the episode where Captain Planet saves the day by delivering a speech to a bunch of kids about how they shouldn’t be afraid of AIDS.
