“it's hard to overstate how neglected this area is, and how crazy cheap the interventions that have spared hundreds of millions of animals from painful lives have been”. You should donate, especially if you eat meat!. It’s remarkably cheap to help tens of thousands of animals.
A group of generous donors have pledged to match ANOTHER $500,000 of donations for @farmkind_giving. Huge thanks to:. @seemaychou & @JedMcCaleb: $250,000.@gauravkapadia: $100,000.@ArielNessel: $50,000 (2nd donation).@tylermaule: $50,000.The Dahna Foundation: $50,000. If we

Some amount of AI use is probably neutral or negative to measured GDP even when it creates consumer surplus, because not all surplus goes back into the formal economy. Consumer surplus that is used for free time/enjoyment doesn’t get measured and isn’t included in GDP numbers.
@tszzl @polynoamial Not really! often it’s negative for GDP:. - Solving an issue without calling a handyman: negative GDP.- 4ogooning to boterotica probs negative.- most salaryman workers using ChatGPT prob just work less: neutral gdp.- striver workers only ones +ve gdp, but gains accrue slowly.

This might be the first coworking space for tech founders in London!. Hopefully the first of many 🇬🇧.
🚨Huge news – i've officially opening a co-working space in east London🚨 . Since we started Ramen Club in 2019, we've had a vision of building a permanent space for makers/SaaS founders. Co-working shouldn't just be a desk space, it should be a community of likeminded people

Making AI useful for your work is all about the context you can give it!. I’ve been working at Highlight to make it the *best* way to seamlessly work with your context, so you can get your work done faster with AI. Excited to hear feedback and thoughts!.
Today we're releasing the #1 interface for MCP Servers. Everything you already love about Cursor, across every app on your computer. What Apple Intelligence & Copilot could have been. 1) Screen grounding: @ any service in-context, and write just by hitting tab. 2) Scroll 👇

What is stopping this from happening? If we’re going to do it, it needs to happen soon.
" I would advocate for a kind of CERN for AGI.". Demis Hassabis proposes a trifecta of global institutions to "maximize the chances of this going well" with AGI:. A "CERN" for collaborative AGI research, an "IAEA" (International Atomic Energy Agency) for safety monitoring, & a
