That is the exact wrong thing to do. You take your foot off the gas , and put both hands on the wheel and steer yourself back into control by going with the skid. Pumping the brakes makes it worse.

@TalkWithSally If your tires aren't moving (locked up) on black ice, pumping the brakes will likely make it worse, as the wheels are already skidding; you need to take your foot off the brake/gas and gently steer into the skid to regain control

Presidents don’t get veto power over judges they dislike. Immigration law still requires evidence. Screaming “gang member” isn’t proof. Courts checking presidents is literally the system working as designed.
