Keep in mind, Western interference can be seen all across African countries being overwhelmed by violence, and Russian Wagner mercenaries (now operating under a different name) are directly involved with a lot of it- including Sudan.

The awful RSF isn’t Islamist and they’re backed by, among others, the UAE which is anti-Islamist. Facts matter more than lazy prejudices or seeing everything through a domestic or ideological prism.
