But we hope it's not the end of the journey, and in spite of what's been done to @NEHgov we hope the series can continue in some form. In the meantime, please enjoy our what our Roving Philosophical Reporter, @mcoc, learned about Foot's life and times: https://t.co/AyrRzO7GbI.

For a story, I'm looking for someone who uses a Mill, Lomi, or some other type of countertop food waste processor. Got one? Willing to be interviewed? #compost #foodwaste #methane

Green hydrogen could eliminate Questa, New Mexico’s reliance on fossil fuels, but in order to succeed, the project will need to overcome skepticism from local communities and funding challenges. https://t.co/lCoeQLsBzS

“It’s not a mistake that a movement like that happens in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem and doesn’t happen in the Front Range of Colorado or the Greater Salt Lake Area,” said Matthew Kauffman, leader of the Wyoming Migration Initiative. “It happens here because it still can.”

100 years ago today, the nation's first official wilderness area was born, in New Mexico's Gila National Forest. Here's my latest story for @highcountrynews, a summary of years of reporting about the history & future of designated wilderness. Would love it if you gave it a read!

I produced this episode and learned a lot from @RobGramlichDC about how the grid works (and how much is riding on it). It's one part of a much bigger story, but it's a nice bite-sized chunk.

BUT one thing that I can get behind is @KALW 's Earth Day annual nature takeover. No sustainability news. No weak-sauce commitments. Just the sound of what we're hurting by pursuing business as usual. Enjoy. 🌿 Here's the lineup:

Growing up, I learned to distain the folks who my parents called "Christmas and Easters" because they'd only show up at church on those two days. That's kinda how I feel about Earth Day celebrations (and the torrent of ultimately dumb product/sustainability news surrounding it).

@RobGramlichDC talks with Brad about how to mitigate the risks of load demand, including how recent federal funding could help improve grid planning. They also dig into some systemic fixes that could improve the grid’s health in the long term. 🎧 https://t.co/A5YM3uQcxM
