update. @BrianKaris expressed concern about the number of duplicate texels required. so, extended to include multiple triangles (meshlet, nanite patch). now shared texels included only once. still have some extra border texels, but far fewer. also better for eg 4x4 texel hw
Here's a diagram, showing the data format. TriangleOffset[NumTris] = Location of each triangle’s first texel. RowOffset[NumRows] = Location of each row’s first texel. ColumnOffset[NumRows] = Column offset to first texel. Example:
