Gracovetsky was CORRECT. Those who deny the Spinal Engine theory of locomotion do so because they do NOT know what they are talking about. In hindsight, a lot of “experts” will be exposed as frauds… it’s so obvious they are wrong to anyone who is HONEST.

If HIIT was sold in a pill - would be the most popular (& effective) prescription ever written. Make this your view 1-2x/week.

We suck at predicting talent development. We're not good at it. Accept that. Now, if that's the case, why wouldn't we want to keep more people in the pipeline to see how they develop? Too often, especially in youth sports, we talent ID too quickly. We're fooling ourselves.

Both sport coaches and strength coaches bring massive value to athletes; one builds game readiness, the other builds the engine. 💪🏽 But what’s really exciting is how speed has become the bridge between the two. In recent years, more programs are putting focused speed work front

Roughly 40% of people who meet standard activity guidelines (2.5 hrs/week of moderate exercise) still fail to improve their VO₂ max. That's because moderate-intensity training alone often isn't enough stress to boost cardiovascular fitness To break through that plateau,

It’s 9:30 and the word “communication” has come up twice already today. As a coach this may be the number one skill. Have more talks with players. Also, texting is lame if it’s an excuse not to have a tough conversation.

I love the “lift heavy weights” message that is being pushed out for our older clients and our female clients. But I like 5-6 reps more than 3-4 reps. Trust me, based on experience 5-6 will be heavy enough and safer #safeandsmart
