Great paper on imaging individual as well as multiple ribosomes and on how ribosomes translate efficiently!
Our paper on Stopless-ORF Circular RNAs (socRNAs) is now out in Cell. By high-res tracking and comparing translation by either single or multiple ribosomes, we find that ribosomes cooperate to overcome pausing to ensure fast and efficient translation https://t.co/Oyw32LlbxM

Happy to share our new paper in PRX Life! We apply the information bottleneck to molecular sensing problems; for signals in early fly development, and Gaussian signals generally, we identify a universal tradeoff between obtaining crucial information and measuring noisily.
Cells decipher chemical inputs to decide their fate, yet these "measurements" can be imprecise. This PRX Life study looked at how this affects cell information retrieval and what it means for gap genes in fruit fly embryos. 🧬🔬 https://t.co/lbtALlS9gX
