Mass extinctions☄️☠️ have shaped life on Earth🌍🌏🌎, but which species survive these events? In our new paper (@schierlab @annika_nichols_ @WSalzburger), we find that being active during the night🌃🌕 might have conferred an advantage to vertebrates through mass extinctions.
