And why, pray tell, do I briefly appear behind David Mitchell's and Lara Ricote's shoulders in this clip, wearing a suit? That would be telling.
"Mitchell And Webb Are Not Helping", a new sketch show featuring @arobertwebb, @5teviem, @kfRedhot, @lararicote, Krystal Evans and me, starts NEXT MONTH on @Channel4! Here's a little taster to get you in the holiday mood.

Could not agree more. I churned out a pile of crappy pages taller than @richardosman before I wrote a publishable one. Maybe everyone has a good novel in them but itβs usually buried under 3 or 4 terrible ones. And unfortunately you have to get those ones out first.
I started so many novels when I was younger, but I'm very glad I was nearly 50 when I committed myself to it. Age brings a bit of wisdom and perspective and lived experience. I know lots of agents feel the same. 50 is a VERY GOOD age to write a novel. Go for it!

This oneβs been a long haul but I just hit save on a complete first draft. The story has ended - OR HAS IT? Properly excited about this one; though it needs a serious kicking in the edit.

Tbh I have more in common with the political and media classes but I still stand with the striking workers. We need solidarity not false dividing lines and for once I think the majority of people are getting that.
Always remember you have far more in common with striking nurses, railway workers, and postal workers than with the political and media classes telling you those people are your enemy.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that corporate money is speech; so if they want to pull their ad money, sorry Elon: thatβs free speech in action. The justices said so.

π€ Name recognition alone should give Johnson a much higher advantage. Plus this poll shows that 25% of his former voters think heβd do a bad job. This poll proves the OPPOSITE of a mandate. People - especially politicians - need to be better at reading data.
