Now all sorts of wasted activity. Major corporations will begin to call. Lawful commerce and immigration will be put in crisis mode. Mexico and US govt officials will scramble. Trump will claim some victory based on some vague statement made by Mexico. Rinse. Repeat.
Trump says he’ll close all or much of the Mexican border “next week” if Mexico does not stop “ALL” illegal immigration by then. He usually doesn’t attach a specific deadline to this threat.
