Most importantly, there have been no reported injuries as the result of the Jasper Complex Wildfire. Approximately 25,000 people were safely evacuated from the town of Jasper and Jasper National Park. All residents, visitors and responders are safe.

Here’s a look at one of the fires in Jasper National Park via a RCMP led tour. This one burns northeast of the town near Snaring. We didn’t get a view of the town and emergency crews, as the officer said things changed and it was too risky to continue the tour. #JasperWildfire

James Eastham with Parks Canada just stopped by. Told us there are structural losses in Jasper but did not say how many. Only trace amounts of rain now expected. Firefighters have observed 400-foot flames in the park. The north fire has also moved closer.
