Just lift the weights and go home
You are not in the trenches while at the gym
It is an air conditioned facility where you lift heavy circles
You are not at war
You learn more about yourself in intense gym sessions than anything else
There is nowhere to hide in the gym, you will be exposed for better or for worse
This is why you must lift the weights
Best way to stop listening to music is by reading the Quran more
And listening to recitations while in the car or at the gym etc
You’ll naturally just stop
If you do go back to it you’ll feel some guilt
This is what worked for me
A life of fulfillment for a man comes from deen and providing for your family
No supercar, watch, penthouse etc will give you fulfillment
Nothing wrong with having those things, but your priorities should be set
They’re just temporary pleasure in this world
Allah first
Your body will feel so much better when you eat whole foods instead of processed food
Cut out the protein shakes and bars
Eat more eggs
Meat
Greek yogurt
You’ll feel the difference
More energy
Less fatigued
Also do some fasting
You can fit in your sweet cravings
Simple
To improve your life you should be focused on these 3 things:
Fitness
- MMA
- Lift Weights
- High Protein Diet
Finances
- High Paying Job
- Start a Business
- Learn To Invest
Deen
- Read Quran
- Go To the Masjid
- Pray All 5 Prayers On Time
Keep it simple.
Don’t fall into these morning routine traps
Cold shower journal meditate etc
Be a man
Pray fajr
Drink some coffee
And start your work
That’s the only “routine” you need
Everything else is a distraction/cope
Don’t avoid what really needs to be done
Keep it simple

Stay away from yes men
Hang around people who will tell you what you need to hear
Not what you want to hear
Not agreeing with everything you say
People that can keep you in check if something/someone is bad for you
If you can get up everyday in a bad mood for no reason
You can get up everyday in a good mood for no reason
Learn to embrace life now in your current state
Not when you move to a new place, get a new car, start traveling more etc etc
Enjoy every part of your journey

Just eat whole foods
Don’t cut or bulk (gay)
Eat a lot of protein and fruit
Pair that with lifting weights and cardio
Cardio could be anything from walking 15k+ steps a day, jiu jitsu, boxing etc
