Our findings highlight an amazing role of the gut microbiome in anti-tumor immunity and how important it is for us to further understand obesity, weight loss and especially bariatric surgery-associated microbes.

Further, ex vivo BCAA treatment increased primary iNKT cell expression of anti-tumor cytokines, demonstrating direct activation of NKT cells by BCAAs.
