@lufthansa's baggage support center has zero clue about any of the above, and can only look up the status of the claim. They also falsely claimed our bags were delivered on Monday 6/10 to the resort. They were sitting at the courier’s office in Naples from Fri 6/7 - Tues 6/11.

As you may imagine, this was a massive inconvenience. We flew back home to Atlanta on Tuesday 6/11/2024. According to our Apple AirTags, they’ve gone from the Naples airport >> a courier’s office in Naples >> back to the Naples airport >> Frankfort airport (as of today 3:30pm).

We submitted a claim at the Naples airport, and instructed them to deliver our bags to the resort we were staying at in Ischia (an island off the coast of Naples). They never arrived while we were there.

We were on flight LH 1878 from Munich to Naples on Wednesday 6/5/2024 (flew into Munich from Lyon on LH 2249). Our bags were delayed, so we weren’t able to pick them up right away in Naples. They got rebooked on a later flight, and arrived in Naples the evening of 6/5/2024.
