Crossing my fingers and toes that they haven't recycled that iMac and I can still get the SSD from it. Worst case I can do a deep scan of the drive using expensive software to recover some of it.

Spent most of today trying to recover data from a hard drive that Genius Bar removed from an old unrepairable iMac. Tried everything but couldn't mount the drive. Finally figured it out. That iMac had a Fusion drive and Apple folks gave me just the HDD drive, forgot the SSD one.

LOL only half of the ads for $8 a month.
