Saw a great idea on YouTube, from Sam the Cooking Guy, where he made a triple cheese grilled cheese sandwich on Texas toast. Then he made a double smash burger, pried the grilled cheese apart, and made his party melt that way. I'm probably making them tomorrow evening.
Another great food tip from Sandy. Want to make your vegan chickpea & kale grilled sandwich better? Replace the chickpeas with a burger patty and the kale with cheese. Now you have a patty melt, which will make you happy instead of sad. Follow for more food tips.

You know it’s time to overhaul the TSA when someone like Terry Bradshaw gets patted down twice, has entire luggage searched item by item and then gets hauled off to the back “private room” for another pat down. Sometimes with these TSA folks, it’s just a complete power trip.

Unfortunately, I run into tailgaters more on single lane roads. Camping on multi lane roads is wrong and annoying, but I don't see it as much as on single lane roads.

Went out for dinner with my wife. Company was excellent, of course, but the meal was Meh. You know what every decent restaurant- that doesn't seek to be gourmet - could do to elevate their menu?. Fresh hand cut French fries. Simple. If you're going to serve frozen or premade.

Not sure why Burroughs never gets the attention he deserves in this day and age for the scope and depth of his imagination. He does get some. But not nearly enough, IMHO. Howard and Tolkien suck the air right out of the room, and they deserve the praise, unfortunately. But.
An excellent entry into the lost world genre—and one I rarely see getting attention—is ERB's Beyond Thirty, in which a war-torn Europe descends once more into barbarism, and by the 22nd century is a terra incognita to the civilized men of Pan-America.
