Nice. I love that @HEPData is progressively adding richer and richer information and cross-references to its database.
New feature: find @HEPData records with associated SModelS (@SabineKraml et al.) analyses with a search query "analysis:SModelS".

A classic ! Congrats @eilamgross @KyleCranmer … fun fact @pyhf_ to some extent emerged from me trying to explain this paper to a friend.
Cowan-@KyleCranmer-Gross-Vitells 2013 Eur.Phys.J.C article."Asymptotic formulae for likelihood-based tests of new physics".reaches 5,000 citations. #topcites @SpringerPhysics

This has been such a long time coming… amazing to see this out - @Aishik_Ghosh_ led this effort throuout and persevered through this. It also proves that a big ship like @ATLASexperiment can move if you push long enough.
A thread on quantum interference and the 6 year adventure it took me through. In experimental particle physics we sift out events from signal (eg. Higgs) processes vs the orders of magnitude more events from background processes….

to calibrate, it'd be great to know from @beenwrekt which particle was the last one that was "discovered". did we discover the W/Z boson? The J/Psi? The muon? The positron? Did JJ Thompson not discover the electron after all?.

this is so out there, it's hard to figure out where to begin (@KyleCranmer has a good initial response). I first thought it was about some subtle point about whether you can ever discover something with null hypothesis testing (vs excluding nulls) - but it then went broader 1/2.
