For #ManifestoMonday and given the recent expulsion of German AfD from the Identity & Democracy group in the EP, I looked at how strongly EP parties actually differ in their (national) policy positions. More in this thread 👇
… so how heterogeneous are EP groups? Here, each point represents a nat. member party. Note : 1) the (populist) radical-right groups (ID+ECR), but also the EPP are rather divided on socio-economic positions, whereas The Left and Greens/EFA parties are closer together here.
