In my early college days, I bumped into RoCo in an elevator and didn’t know what to say, so I just blurted out “you’re leading the league in deflections!”
He smiled and said “I’ve BEEN doing that!”

This was the biggest thing for me. He was wild in the paint and couldn’t convert on a scary amount of drives. BUT — 19 year olds can get better. The talent is there. I’M ALL IN IZTOK
Not so cool...Hardy's layup / drive game is work in progress.
Among 128 players with >50 layups last year in G-League, Jaden Hardy ranked last 128th in field goal %. Shot 22/55 or 38% on his layup attempts.
Overall G-League average last season was 59%.
