Often, a mild sedative is helpful for calming people and situations down, rather than "antipsychotics" where the nature of the actual psychosis is disputable.

Fragmenting care costs more+ lower quality care. meantime qualified GPs can't get jobs in practices (complex but increased costs of running practices, underfunding /instability). far better to invest in stable core NHS GP (and read evidence on walk in services!)
