Great podcast. James wrote a book that got my interested in commercial real estate. Unlike most books on CRE, his wasn’t dry it all. Funny, full of wins and losses, and dumbing it down enough so that a newbie can really understand it. Highly recommend!.
My favorite part of having a podcast is that I've been able to interview some of the absolute best people in the industry. James Randel is unequivocally one of them. James is the author of Confessions of a Real Estate Entrepreneur, a CRE book I've recommended countless times

1. Lead comes in.2. Ask for lease.3. Underwrite.4. Offer out within 12 hours . Aside from some outliers, we typically spend 30 minutes underwriting basic warehouse deals.
While you’re obsessing over the correct data for your models that you will use to bid against other spreadsheet jockeys in a public sale - some napkin math bozo is lowballing at scale and doubling your office’s returns.

Lots of questions!. I’ll address some in the video. 1) 14 cubic ft stand up freezer is TOO SMALL for a 1/4 cow unless you organize very well (I don’t) . 2) wasn’t a fan of chest freezers before, but it has its uses. 3) see video for cuts

My half cow came in. This is the way to get your meat. I even keep the fat too so that we can use it for cooking (& even lotion). My only regret is not getting a bigger freezer so I could order a whole cow. Total cost: $1,627.305lbs.$5.33/lb.Grass fed from a local farmer
