Co-leading the ECMO-Rehab trial at Fiona Stanley Hospital #ICU to get suitable critically ill patients, like Clint featured in this news story, requiring #ECMO life support up and moving earlier with #physiotherapy is a highlight of my career so far! https://t.co/OBgd80oCZS

So humbled to be able to share our recent review in the opening plenary at #isicem24 that showed the safety of early mobilisation in ICU, although need to analyse the influence of individual phenotypes - post-doc sorted! https://t.co/FL8IOOeqob @a_serpaneto @chodgsonANZICRC

Almost years ago, I evaluated almost 200 ICU patients at the time of discharge in the landmark ABC Trial. Almost 100% of them were significantly cognitively impaired but they rarely looked this way. Don't assume, that your patients are cognitively normal. @CIBScenter

This is important commentary - is an increase in heat rate or a drop in oxygen saturation that resolved with cessation of exercise really an adverse event? My review coming soon will investigate this further! @SabrinaEggmann @BernieBissett @gosselink_rik @NydahlPeter

Rehabilitation for #ICU survivors is about body & mind. ‘Recovery’ doesn’t end at discharge: can last forever. Tell patient & family about #delirium. Warn them & tell them that they don’t have to be alone when that happens. 🖋️ #ICMfromtheinside #Icurehab 🔓 https://t.co/czICJlHjeB
