Glad to see that respiratory care is still a key component of ICU physio roles. Yes mobility is important, but not possible in all, & physios have many skills to optimise ventilation & secretion clearance although confidence varies greatly across the country!.

Excited to share our latest publication! Despite early mobilisation being key, physiotherapists prioritise respiratory care for ventilated patients. Standardised guidelines and support for regional centres are needed.@JWood_PT .
