This isn’t the equivalent of the Daily Show segment that helped put the final nails into Google Glass’s coffin, but segments like this are an important testament to the fact that despite what AI advocates like to say there’s a lot of skepticism and opposition towards AI….

I’ve said it before, but the deluge of AI generated bullshit is going to make it more important than ever to start teaching things like cover letter writing/résumé writing. Amidst all of the AI generated swill, knowing how to write/sound human will become increasingly valuable.
Recruiters face 45% surge in AI-crafted résumés. hitting 11,000 submissions per minute. Many résumés now mirror job-description keywords from simple ChatGPT prompts. AI agents auto-apply on behalf of candidates, forcing firms into an AI vs AI screening arms race.

Throughout history new technologies (not just computer related ones) have often been met with concerns about what their impacts may be on how people think. But just because people have often been concerned doesn’t mean their concerns have been baseless or ultimately inaccurate.
