Ever wondered whether attachment is variable, not constant? And how feelings of attachment security, anxiety, and avoidance shift across situations along with affect? Well, we did too. @AleksaKaurin ‘s paper addresses these questions and others.
🗞️Now in press at @affectScience: our paper on #attachment variability in daily life 📳! w/ Paul Pilkonis and @aidangcw PDF: https://t.co/24VXEbtKZC preprint: https://t.co/MjQLa3mw4s

Haven’t seen @lensimms since @srp_science 2019 but he was passing through town! Got in a hug and some tacos in my office.

We (@DBsamuel_phd and I) put together an @ABCTNOW symposium on clinical applications of dimensional models of psychopathology. It was rejected. Our talks were pretty badass, so here's a thread on the data we would have shared (reach out to us directly if you want to learn more).

.@lensimms (total boss in charge of the @HiTOP_system assessment workgroup) was planning to talk about their measurement development project, particularly how he envisions clinicians using this tool (and its advantages vs. DSM-based assessments)

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Scott Lilienfeld, a leader in psychological science. He was a committed empiricist, educator, and by all accounts a kind and thoughtful mentor. Today we reminesce on his impactful work and legacy.

Let’s talk about fairness, Mitch. NYS puts $116 billion more into the federal pot than we take out. Kentucky TAKES $148 billion more from the federal pot than they put in. But we don't deserve help now because the 15,000 people who died here were predominately democrats?

One of the really dumb ideas of all time just came from Sen. Mitch McConnell. His suggestion to let states go bankrupt makes no sense. He says he doesn't want a "Blue State Bailout." 15,000 people died — this is not the time for politics.

The president’s comments were destructive, demeaning, and disunifying. The President of the United States has a unique and noble calling to unite the American people – of all different races, colors, and national origins. In that respect, the president failed badly.

Next week is a big week for Trump according to him. He’s going to deport millions of illegals and then possibly wipe out Iran and then some golf at Mar-a-Lago.

Listening to Trump continuing to trash John McCain is truly disturbing. The guy was locked up in a cell and beaten within an inch of his life while you were on a yacht nursing your bone spur. What’s the matter with you? He’s dead for Gods sake.
