The lab's new paper on contextual factors associated with emotion beliefs available here: https://t.co/TO4HHu8k8R When people feel moreso that their emotions will last "forever" they are more likely to try to escape, distract themselves, and also ruminate.

Does anyone have any template recommendations for clinical write-ups of PID-5 results? We're trying to integrate dimensional assessments into our reports at the Pitt Clinical Psychology Center, but can't settle on templates for clinical application.

TURNS OUT “ludacris” is not the actual spelling of the word. If you need me, I’ll be at the local elementary school relearning how to spell things.

#RStats tip of the day, want **reproducibly** random jitter plots? Use position_jitter()! ggplot(mtcars, aes(x = cyl, y = mpg, group = cyl)) + geom_boxplot() + geom_point(position = position_jitter(seed = 37)) Note the exact matching between plots! https://t.co/GaiuEpkUrN

None of this stuff should be controversial
Yet another paper, this time @nicholaraihani, was rejected bc their null-finding isn't "interesting enough" to publish. This makes clear the journal isn't interested in the core goal of science: learning about the world. So what journal characteristics support this goal?🧵
