Nobody tells ya the average generator in a wind turbine needs to have a yearly 4,000 litter oil change... not including all the petroleum grease fittings that have to be maintained on moving parts. Carbon Fiber Blades have to be replaced after so many hours on the turbine.

Every Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot has to preform many types of Auto-rotations to pass there check ride with the FAA... I'm a 40 year Commercial Rotocraft Pilot & have practiced thousands of Autos. A few I have done for real. most Commercial Pilots are ready for this emergency...

Something like 4000-7000 liters of oil has to be changed periodically in wind turbines depending on the size of the turbine, location & model of the power generating machine... Carbon Fiber Blades can't be recycled & are buried in the earth @ the end of there life cycle.

That's cool... When I was in Medic School Centuries ago I learn Spider Webs can be used as a Coagulant & they were used in WWII in Europe to stop the bleeding in the field. I wondered if the Medics in WWII came across fields of webs like this...
