My daughter will become a nurse in one month and is working the front line for mental health front/first facing through emergency at grand river hospital. The patients are very sick, and we have no way to help them. They do what they can and send them out.

The Hamilton homelessness crises opened my eyes. I am lucky, I am blessed. I am homes and alive. I have family. We are all an accident, a paycheck, an injury, a loss away from a sustained life. This pod is wonderful and needed and more people need to watch,.

Approached me as I left my daughter’s home, walking up and down the street asking if I knew where he could rent a room, a student from another country promised housing for Conestoga college. Broke my heart as he carried everything he owned.

Without a brother paying my bills…. I WOULD BE HOMLESS. Even those of of who look and are successful and supported, it could be gone. in a blink. There would be no where for me in @RegionWaterloo due to the broken crises here. In the winter a gentleman.
