Friendly reminder: "It costs a fair amount of money to run subnets". And most teams have not sold a single alpha token since dtao inception. We're running on fumes to deliver extraordinary value but eventually, we'll need to cover our costs with alpha. Within reason.
@TalkingTensor FWIW I have not sold any of my portion of the alpha from chutes work. I can't deplete my savings forever though and this is my livelihood, so I will eventually sell some. It costs a fair amount of money (salaries, servers, taxes, etc.) to run subnets.

Every participant of dtao should understand this. A subnet will not succeed unless miners are also committed. Same goes for holders. Weβre all doing our part, you should do yours - spread the word and work for your bags.
As a miner of sn-41, we have to commit to not selling the token until the value of the subnet is realized. My team refuses to sell. $tao This is the only thing we can do for the holders. The recent conversations on discord should highlight the importance of hodlers.

Since March 30, isolating out the protocol-injected TAO, weβve had ~74K (for reference, that's ~1.2% of root TAO) net inflows into dTAO. The sum of prices went from 1.29 to 2.15. Itβs early, liquidity is thin, but this is what 1.2% of root TAO flowing into dTAO feels like.
