The cornerstone of Western civilization is free speech. It is the 'first commandment' of free societies. If Europe has abandoned THE core tenant, free speech, then we can't be friends anymore.

The EU imposes impossible rules so it can punish tech firms that refuse to silently censor free speech. We saw the same in France: a baseless “criminal investigation”, then intelligence services offering to help with it if @telegram quietly censored speech in Romania and Moldova.
The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us. The other platforms accepted that deal. 𝕏 did not.
