Excited to be part of this incredible work by @SpinalCordMark and @VAbraira, out now in @NeuroCellPress! 🎉. In this work, @laurmedlock uses a network model to show how PV+ inhibitory neurons in the deep dorsal horn gate cutaneous-evoked muscle activity.

To explore this spectrum we built models of LTMRs. They showed that the integration window of different RAs transitions from wide ➡️ narrow as frequency preference moves from low ➡️ high frequencies. (3/4)

⚡️ We found that unlike the dichotomous frequency preference of RAI and RAII afferents in other species (e.g. primates), rodent RAs form a continuum of frequency preferences. (2/4)
