What if I told you the biggest problem against quality opponents was the game plan/play calling/adjustment capability and not the roster building.
McCarthy needs to run a modern West Coast offense with a higher rate of motion.
DQ needed to be more multiple, something Zimmer is
Cowboys seem to have lost benefit of the doubt with fan base even though they’ve won 12 games three straight seasons and nobody questioned the talent on the roster - at least no until their inglorious playoff exits.

- an aging Tyron who finally managed to play more than 12 games (let go likely because of injury history and money)
- an aging Hankins (could’ve been cheap sure)
- a C (everyone was extremely disappointed with just 3 months ago)

Lets say a super bowl champion is a 10 .. last year I felt the cowboys was at a 7 (minus diggs) so it would of been nice to build off that (we never do) now we sitting at a 5 .. and its going to be an uphill battle to just to get back to that 7 break even point

He was a mid-late round pick on my stack due to age and performance.
They reached because of the run on TEs. He became a good blocking TE because he was 24 blocking 18-21 year olds. He should have been able to carry that into the pros.
He has limited time imo.
