Life has been busy (in a good way), but that’s not what’s causing me to struggle to fully engage this season. I’m largely discouraged by the continued operational mismanagement from the front office that directly affects the on field product of the team. Many dedicated fans.

This is the unfortunate reality of the game of football. Hate it for Rashawn Slater, LAC, and its fans. He was one of my favorite couch scout finds. Absolutely monster on the field.
BREAKING: #Chargers All-Pro LT Rashawn Slater suffered a serious patella injury in practice today that is believed to be season-ending, per multiple sources. Slater just recently signed a well-deserved 4-year, $114M extension. Absolutely awful.

I’ve said it before — the #Cowboys tend to give deals to guys you wouldn’t expect to be first in line. While everyone’s been anticipating extensions for Micah Parsons or even Tyler Smith, it’s Jake Ferguson who ends up getting paid.
The #Cowboys and standout TE Jake Ferguson have agreed to terms on a 4-year extension worth $52M in new money with $30M total guaranteed. The deal was done by agent Jack Bechta (@jackbechta). Ferguson gets a $12M signing bonus. Dallas takes care of a young star.
