If New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with “No Name Given,” that’s on them. The moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws. OHP performed an enforcement action along I-40 and apprehended 125 illegal immigrants. This is keeping Oklahomans safe.

Oklahoma was ahead of the curve on this. At the beginning of the summer, I signed a law requiring Oklahoma CDL holders speak proficient English and provide proof of citizenship. The alternative has proven deadly.
Foreign drivers who can’t read road signs are endangering lives and undercutting American truckers. @SecDuffy: ‘A California CDL could be decertified in other states. Illegals take American jobs and drive down wages—we’ve heard the truckers, and we’re not letting this go.’
