The AI Vibe is shifting and that’s a good thing For the last two years, we’ve been on an exponential hype curve in AI. GPT-3 stunned the world. GPT-4 promised reasoning. Claude, Gemini, Grok all raced to show who had the smartest, biggest, most general model. But now, something

Multiple times per day now I have the feeling of "I cannot believe how amazing Claude is". But it doesn't make me feel *worried* for my job, it makes me feel *enabled*. I cannot believe how fast I can move now. And it's not in the places you expect. Claude doesn't make me *much*

Maybe a very prosaic observation, but I've been reflecting on just how much the pandemic changed the world in ways that are completely unrelated to the pandemic itself. I think I've underestimated it 'till now. In a recent interview, I was struck by the comment that so many of

NotebookLM just ended manual AI paper reading. They’ve released a new version for arXiv papers and it’s insane. It doesn’t just summarize papers. - It studies thousands of related sources - Connects the research for you - Explains everything back in audio like a real mentor

My pleasure to come on Dwarkesh last week, I thought the questions and conversation were really good. I re-watched the pod just now too. First of all, yes I know, and I'm sorry that I speak so fast :). It's to my detriment because sometimes my speaking thread out-executes my

I find it unimaginably based that the OAI Evals team keeps making benchmarks finding that Claude is better and publishing it anyway. they are 3 for 3 this year in acknowledging specifically how much Claude is better at tasks OAI care about. there is no sarcasm here folks. this
Today we’re introducing GDPval, a new evaluation that measures AI on real-world, economically valuable tasks. This is huge! NVIDIA just built a framework named SATLUTION, which can scale LLM-based code evolution from small kernels to full repositories (hundreds of files, tens of thousands of lines of C/C++). It is the first one that can do this. Targeting SAT (the canonical
