Kinda wishing people would stop comparing the Chanukah Massacre to the Lindt Siege or Port Arthur. Those events were not intentionally targeting people on the basis of identity while celebrating their culture.

Rabbi Eli Schlanger visited me many times when I was a patient at SVH. He was one of the most genuinely kind and good people you ever met, perfectly suited for the chaplaincy work he loved in hospitals and prisons. He was one of the first confirmed killed yesterday. BDH.
