An entirely peaceful protest in the largest city in the country. 0 arrests. There goes that MAGA talking point.
The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted. We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.

Been watching the NO KINGS marches, mostly on social because American MSM is ignoring. Millions and millions on the street telling the Orange (small handed, huge cankles) Obsolescence what they think of him. Only violence and arrests I've found have been from MAGAt terrorists.

On this day in 2017, Gord Downie died. Born in 1964, he was the singer and lyricist for the Tragically Hip from 1984 until his death. Considered a Canadian icon, he was involved in environmental and Indigenous activism later in life.
