Pleased to announce I've officially won the
@NDP
nomination in my home riding, Cypress Hills—Grasslands!
I think this makes me the first election mapmaker to appear on a federal ballot, AMA.
Justin Trudeau wants to erase our history by redesigning the credit card in your wallet. Reply to this tweet with pictures of the front and back to show him that you're proud to be Canadian
Pleased to announce that I've been acclaimed Vice-President of the Canadian Cartographic Association!
As a self-taught young person I am especially interested in making
@CdnCarto
more relevant to amateurs - let's start talking about how to turn loving maps into a career.
So, the embarrassing truth is that I have a 5-year worldbuilding project. These are the 60 provinces of New Columbia, never before presented in this format.
Please, for God's sake, ask me something about them.
Today is my 24th birthday. In the last year, I was stomped by a 61% margin and got my name on Wikipedia. I will never give up and hope to be an even bigger nuisance this year. Believe in yourself 🤠✌️
Happy New Year! Thank you very much for supporting my map business, today is my possession day of an original small town Eaton's catalogue house. Please keep buying maps because the whole second floor needs to be gutted asap.
Pleased to announce that I am now Canada's first newsroom cartographer - courtesy of

Expect some very good web graphics, starting with the Ontario election this year.
Years ago I had this idea of publishing an enormous poster featuring all 50 state legislatures. The 🇨🇦 exchange rate has gotten really bad, so maybe I should get back into it?
This is because most provinces have some kind of review process for municipal annexations. The Alberta government frequently rejects proposals just for being ugly:
All the Hutterite colonies in North America.
I use Natural Earth data for most of my base maps, so Day 13 of the
#30DayMapChallenge
didn't take any special effort.
I made this promise a while ago. All 50 of my state legislative election maps are now available on Wikimedia Commons.
Please use them where they're needed, I don't have any experience with U.S. election pages.
Cypress Hills—Grasslands finally reported and the last pile of late mail ballots was great for us: we got 214 more votes, the PPC got 28 😬
This bumped us from 10.20% to 10.52% 😎
