Local Swifties & fans. It’s time to recommit to last year’s pledge. We want Taylor to continue to feel safe & comfortable here in KC. Regular & social media are insane already. 1 slip-up could cause a very bad situation. Pls share.

New data reveal that wealthy families are overwhelmingly the ones using private school voucher credits to opt out of paying tax to public coffers. Most of the credits are being claimed by families with incomes over $200,000. https://t.co/EKNyx2Ij5g

Republicans interrogating Biden’s nominee for U.S. Secretary of Labor, Julie Su, over the fact that she never ran a business is just an excuse for them to try and prevent an Asian American female from making history. I don’t recall them caring one iota that Trump nominated Betsy

I’m not sure about MO’s Shoot First Law (aka Stand Your Ground)—in KS there’s no duty to retreat if there is a perceived threat to person or PROPERTY. This dangerous law empowers vigilantes to shoot first, ask questions later—pre-trial immunity lets them get away with it. #ksleg

This country was founded on white men killing people in the name of white property. It’s our history. Then arm people to the teeth, tell them Black folks are dangerous—that we’re coming for your homes. That’s always been the bloodied soil for lynching. Ralph deserved better.

This article articulates incredibly well, the incredible corruption and lack of representation Kansans actually have in Topeka. A 🧵 in pictures... @ClayWires #ksleg #ksed

This is one of the best articulations of what “parents rights” actually means and helps explain why we oppose the so-called parents rights legislation in Kansas. #ksleg #ksed

Just know that the "teacher raises", special education funding, & the rural school enrollment multiplier was added to SB 83 so that in few years elected officials can say that they voted for teacher raises, special education, & rural schools on political flyers #ksed #ksleg 1/2

The shooter in Nashville left behind a manifesto. She had a different school in mind but settled on one she was familiar with. She was well armed with two assault rifles and a handgun. This was a premeditated act of violence against America’s children and teachers. I’m a former
