FYI - Today, the currently appointed US Dept Educ Secretary urged states to redirect federal funding for K12 at-risk students and re-allocate for private school tuition vouchers. @KsPTALeg @SMAC_PTA @GameOnKansas @KASBPublicEd @USAKansas
The Trump-Musk administration sent state education depts a letter today encouraging them to divert Title I dollars into school choice schemes. I’m on record supporting public school choice. This isn’t that. It’s a predicate and set-up to raid more of—and withhold—these funds.
