Nobody asked, but a couple of principles for life:
+ Always be a student. Learn more than a just superficial level about all the latest tech, including AI, blockchain, energy, healthcare, etc.
+ We're nothing without health, so focus meticulously on fostering a calm mind and
Avalanche is no longer comparable to anything else in the crypto space. It's absolutely in its own new category of performant, flexible, multi-vm compute.
It is becoming the first, true "decentralized AWS" of the crypto space, and nothing compares.
Want to see the future?
If you want to move assets from one chain to another on Avalanche: literally just drag and drop.
(delay was just me pressing "accept" on the wallet)
Very bullish EthDenver. Got pitched an L3 ai modular interoperable arbitrum orbit chain settling on an op stack chain and underneath settling on celestia for da, and it has zk proofs, and restaking

Just got a demo of the Avalanche cross-subnet messaging protocol, called Teleporter. It's such an exciting protocol, I honestly thing it's a game changer in terms of cross-chain communication protocols.
Avalanche is no longer comparable to anything else in the crypto space.
Avalanche is in a new category of instant decentralized blockchain launchpad infrastructure.
Soon:
+ Instantly launch L1s/L2s
+ Arbitrary VMs
+ 100K+ TPS performance
+ Native interoperability
Subnets are undergoing a series of major upgrades that put
@avax
on its way to becoming the best platform for building performant, custom blockchains
- Interoperability with AWM & Teleporter
- Easy customization with HyperSDK
- Record-setting performance with Firewood and Vryx

Some stats for you:
+ Avalanche gas usage at an all time high
+ Monthly transaction count at near all time high
+ Number of subnets on testnet: 118 and climbing fast
And yet, fees remain extremely low! Subnet scaling is working nicely.
@ChrisBlec
You should do the 24 words, which accounts for roughly E79 or so permutations which is *checks notes* the number of atoms in the entire universe.
Earliest alpha preview of the future.
Cross subnet tx in a single command. Send from c-chain to subnet back to c-chain. Should be getting a lot faster and cleaner from here.
Good morning fellow chad chain enjoyers, and a special GM to the communities of Campfire, Joepegs, and Kalao, etc.
Remember, the goal is to grow the pie, not to focus on internal fights. It's time to create the chad chain coalition and win.
Absolutely insane optimizations coming in on AvalancheGo!
Albeit a small-scale experiment, producing about 100 blocks in 1 second without any rejections is unheard of in blockchain tech.
3 main area of focus over next year:
- database
- execution engine
- consensus
1/ To make it easier to visualize and test this capability, we implemented a simple load testing simulator in TimestampVM (our "tutorial" Custom Virtual Machine).
On a LOCAL Subnet with 5 validators (M1 Max), I was able to produce ~100 blocks per second without any rejections.
I don't have a visual diagram for the Avalanche tech roadmap, but here's an abridged summary of what I'd personally love to see, written in human-readable format. Note: this is my personal wish-list, but a lot of these are already slated for 2024.
1. Base layer consensus
Avalanche Foundation just donated $1M in AVAX to the earthquake disaster relief efforts. Will be donating today personally as well, and I encourage others to do the same. Address is here (Avalanche c-chain):
The Avalanche Foundation has donated $1M in AVAX to the disaster relief efforts, organized by
@haluklevent
, for the earthquake that has affected Turkey and Syria. We encourage others to join the effort.
Avalanche certainly had a whole bunch of technical hiccups over the past two years of operation, but it's been consistently the most reliable. Generally unmatched uptime and speed.
I'm just saying
#AVAX
is the only chain of emerging L1s that is battle-tested throughout all market conditions without a problem.
No bullshit. It just works. Gas is cheap. It scales. Doesn't reorg. Doesnt need to be reset every two weeks. Has a large set of validators.

“Kevin, you have an academic background, why don’t you keep a serious and professional tone on Twitter?”
I don’t like people that take themselves seriously. There’s a time and place for seriousness, but it’s not for social media posturing.
Also GM
Can't wait to see all you beautiful people next year at Avalanche Summit II. We've been through so much this year.
In the meantime, let's keep building.
The smart people in this app that do not take themselves seriously and just mostly shitpost are absolute chads and I have nothing but respect for them.
This app isn’t meant for pseudo intellectualism.
@chlo1878
Ignition motor is stuck and not spinning. When you turn key it tries to go and that’s why it moves the engine block.
Yo shit’s busted real bad lol
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to build a large following so that you can continue to steal smaller account's content to repost on Twitter for clout and to make yourself sound smarter, in a feeble attempt to make your life more fulfilling
Seems like the timeline is slowly coming to the realization that subnet architecture is the only path forwards.
i.e. many high performance chains that interoperate as one big chain.
I’ve gotten a bunch of questions around why I’m not generally supportive of memecoins when Avalanche Foundation has a meme coin fund.
Simple, that’s because I am not part of foundation whatsoever. Matter of fact, I found out about the meme coin fund on Twitter myself.
Type 1 L1: One single, high performance chain. Monolithic design.
Type 2 L1: One single, low performance chain, with many rollups for performance. Modular design.
Type 3 L1: Type 1 + Type 2 = Many, high performance chains, with modular interoperability. This is Avalanche.

“No”
“Have you ever designed any distributed systems?”
“Nope”
“Ever built any product with any users?”

Some *big* tech news: Avalanche cross-subnet messaging (warp messaging) is out. Makes usage of BLS signatures to build one of the more elegant and most efficient cross-chain messaging protocols out there.
🚨 Huge news 🚨
Avalanche cross-subnet interoperability functionality is now *almost* here.
Long time in the making, we're about to finally start getting subnetEVM support from Avalanche Warp Messaging.
Just a huge feature unlock. Has blocked so many things until now.
🌀 Welcome to the

Interoperability Age 🌀
Today, the pre-release code for a proposed upgrade to the Avalanche Network (AWM Support on C-Chain) was published and will activate on the Fuji Testnet at 11 A.M. ET on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.
Fantom sonic upgrades seem pretty interesting. I want to see a way to post the validator BLS keys of Fantom validators on P-chain for full interoperability with AWM.
Pausing my X hiatus for a big engineering announcement:
🔥 100K TPS sustained for days on devnet, using Avalanche's latest high-performance engines
This is not hypothesized numbers, these are very real.
The Avalanche Durango Upgrade activated successfully at 11:00 AM ET.
At 11:02 AM ET,
@camjamschultz
sent the first Avalanche Warp Message from a Subnet to the Primary Network (C-Chain):
Welcome to the Avalanche Interoperability Era! 🌀
L1/L2 devs fall for the "single-metric-optimization-fallacy", namely thinking that blockchain A is better than blockchain B because of a singular metric (e.g fees).
What matters is the *totality* of the metrics. Optimize for the aggregate experience.
What if eventually every chain posts their set of validators as simple BLS signatures on the p-chain, and it becomes a global communication/interoperability hub for ALL chains, and not just Avalanche-native chains / subnets?
Imagine that.
Alright, BIG news.
Absolutely huge technical lift and update on AvalancheGo in terms of cleanup, robustness, and paving the way for AvalancheGo v2.
See Patrick’s post below for details. Much more content on this to come over the next few weeks/months.

Cortina:
Cortina paves the way for broader X-Chain adoption with Snowman++, improves the staking UX by batching delegator fees, and allows for more complex C-Chain transactions by increasing the block gas limit from 8 to 15M.
Cheaper? This tweet doesn't do it any justice.
This doesn't just make it cheaper. It makes Avalanche so mind-boggingly good at rapidly launching L1s / sov chains / anything else that needs chain infra that absolutely nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, else comes close.
Quarterly retreat done ✅
The biggest AvalancheGo upgrade ever is coming. ACP-77 is looking absolutely incredible.
There will be no second best high performance L1 launchpad and full interoperability network than post ACP-77 AvalancheGo.
We blue checkmark elites have had our petticoats ruffled by this $8/month news. Now everyone can join our weekly blue check mark meetings. Nonsense, we say!
