Finally uploaded a less fuzzy version of the 'Blankety Blank' Comic Relief 2003 sketch ( + curtain call!) from my VHS tape. (VCR on timer that night) The sound is slightly quieter, but at least the visuals aren't so 'Claude Monet -ified' as the old link. https://t.co/ZRQli2gyPW

Yes it's great and Daniel is just incredible. Whole cast is wonderful in fact and a brilliant adaptation. Go, go, go see it!
An absolute treat seeing @danielrigby in @anarchistplayuk - a comic masterclass. A timely, sublime adaptation by Tom Basden. Loved it!

I first met the Jess Search in 1988. She was brilliant, clever, a bit scary. Over the last few days I've been reading about the huge impact she had on other people's lives. I admired her hugely. She was one of a kind.

A reminder that no-one ever resigned over the post office/Horizon scandal that prosecuted 100s of innocent people and sent dozens to jail, resulting in divorce, bankruptcy and suicide. But Big Nige has to have his special pen and badge. This is a sick, sick country.

RIP Sinead O' Connor, a genius, a genuinely radical artist. Oh, and a huge Public Enemy fan. Last year's documentary about her is excellent. Very sad she has gone.

2023 film reviewers, if you don’t like a movie, claim the script could have been written by ChatGPT. It’s not like every other critic will have had the same, slightly obvious idea. You will be the only one!

I was in Madrid this week and they have parakeets there but different ones to ours - Monk Parakeets that build huge communal nests the size of small cars and make even more noise than our lot. At last I have an agenda to run for Mayor Of London. We want Monk Parakeets here now!

In fact Mr Bradshaw likes The Souvenir part II so much he wanted it to win last year as well.

For those who care about this kind of thing, several of @guardian’s shoulda been a contender picks are for films that were entered in last year’s BAFTAs so didn’t stand much of a chance this year.

Someone's put together a very good guide to reverse advent calendars to benefit independent food banks, which, it turns out, need some help. So if you want to join in, have a look.
