It blew my mind to watch Lake trash McCain when a good chunk of the voters she needed probably voted for McCain multiple times.
I did two interviews with lifelong McCain Republicans today — one voted for Hobbs, the other left the governor race blank. They’re part of the reason Lake lost.

If Twitter really wants to defeat the bots and trolls, they should charge every account $8 a month. I’d imagine that would put a quick dent in the troll farms.
@StephenKing I will explain the rationale in longer form before this is implemented. It is the only way to defeat the bots & trolls.

It’s a mistake to assume that a Blue Check’s value belongs to the Blue Check user. Elon is viewing them as a badge of status. In reality, the Blue Check’s value belongs to Twitter. It lets users know that they can trust Blue Check Tweets as authentic. Twitter needs your trust.
@StephenKing We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter cannot rely entirely on advertisers. How about $8?.
