I literally live above the congestion pricing line, paid fees if I had to take a car anywhere. STILL was thrilled about the congestion pricing. The traffic cut down, it’s quieter, even the trains felt more efficient because people were actually on them (and dare I say safer?).
I think Congestion Pricing is the first law passed in my 10 years in NYC that everyone who *lives in NYC* mostly agrees with and likes. There were simply too many cars and way too much traffic. It was unsustainable and congestion pricing actually worked and I hope it comes back.
